Just as Galaxy users were holding out hope for a renewed rollout of the long-delayed One UI 7 update, Samsung may have quietly confirmed yet another setback. In a surprising move, the company deleted the official One UI 7 update roadmap it published just days ago. This comes in the wake of Samsung halting the update due to a “serious bug”.

According to Ice Universe, this One UI 7 issue stems from an alarming bug that prevented some users from unlocking their phones under certain conditions. Samsung did previously confirm an unlocking issue for users who have set a lock password and use Microsoft’s SwiftKey keyboard app. The keyboard wouldn’t let users press the Enter key, blocking them from unlocking the device using a password.

However, Microsoft has already addressed this issue, so the new one seems to originate from within One UI 7 rather than a third-party app. The bug appears serious enough to prompt Samsung to immediately halt the update. The issue is currently under internal investigation with no official info on when the rollout might resume or what the next step will be.

Meanwhile, Samsung has silently hinted that the delay could be more than just a temporary pause. The company removed the official One UI 7 rollout roadmap it recently published. That roadmap outlined the update timeline for dozens of Galaxy devices, offering users a long-awaited glimpse into when their phones might finally receive Android 15.

Its sudden disappearance strongly suggests that Samsung no longer has confidence in the previously announced schedule — or at least that major revisions are underway. With no clear communication from Samsung, it’s becoming harder to predict when a stable version of One UI 7 will reach all intended devices. Until then, Galaxy users are left to wonder — and wait.
