So far, Samsung has rolled out the One UI 7 update for the Galaxy S24, Z Fold 6, and Z Flip 6 in several regions, including Germany, the US, the UK, and more. However, India is still missing from One UI 7 update list. That might change soon, though. According to a new tip from Tarun Vats, citing a post on Samsung Newsroom (Vietnam), the Galaxy S24 series—and possibly more devices—are expected to start receiving the One UI 7 update starting Monday in India.

This could very well be the One UI 7 stable release schedule for India, starting with Galaxy S24 series

According to a post on Samsung Newsroom, Vietnamese users can expect the One UI 7 update to roll out for the Galaxy S24 series, S23 series, Z Fold 6, Z Fold 5, Z Flip 6, and Z Flip 5 on April 14—i.e., Monday. The post lists several models scheduled to receive the update by the end of April. Here’s what the release timeline looks like:

April 14

  • Galaxy S24, S24+, S24 Ultra
  • Galaxy S23, S23+, S23 Ultra
  • Galaxy Z Fold 6, Z Flip 6
  • Galaxy Z Fold 5, Z Flip 5

April 23

  • Galaxy S24 FE

April 24

  • Galaxy S23 FE
  • Galaxy S21, S21+, S21 Ultra, S21 FE
  • Galaxy Z Fold 4, Z Flip 4

April 28

  • Galaxy S22, S22+, S22 Ultra
  • Galaxy Z Fold 3, Z Flip 3

While this release schedule is specific to Vietnam, Tarun Vats suggests we might see a similar timeline for the One UI 7 rollout in India. Fingers crossed—that’s something we’re definitely hoping for. With One UI 7 already live in many regions, Samsung likely won’t want to keep Indian users waiting much longer.

To check if the update has landed on your device, head to Settings > Software update > Download and install. The update may be around 5GB for users upgrading directly from One UI 6.1, while those already on the beta version could see a much smaller package.

We’ll keep an eye out and let you know if it starts rolling out any sooner.
