The latest One UI 7 bug appears to be more serious than initially believed. Samsung has now pulled the update globally, including in the US. The major Android 15-based update is no longer available for any Galaxy device in any region. Adding to the mystery, Samsung has also deleted the official One UI 7 rollout roadmap just days after publishing it — a move that strongly suggests deeper issues behind the scenes.

One UI 7 rollout pulled in the US too, for all Galaxy devices

Samsung started the One UI 7 rollout on April 7 in its home country, South Korea. Over the past week, the update gradually expanded to Europe, the US, and Canada. The company covered the Galaxy S24 series, Galaxy Z Fold 6, Galaxy Z Flip 6, and Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition in the first batch. The update was supposed to go global starting this Monday, April 14.

The Korean firm even shared a timeline revealing when One UI 7 will be available for a bunch of Galaxy devices. However, just a couple of days before the global rollout began, Samsung quietly pulled the update from its servers. Initially, the update was removed for the Galaxy S24 and S24+ units powered by the Exyos 2400 processor, suggesting a chipset-related compatibility issue or bug.

However, it looks like the issue is much bigger than that. Samsung recently pulled the One UI 7 rollout for all Galaxy devices globally. This likely means the first stable build has a serious bug. According to Ice Universe, the update is locking some users out of their phones. They cannot unlock the device after installing One UI 7, rendering it useless.

So far, Samsung has not issued any official statement addressing the recent developments, leaving users in the dark and uncertain about when the rollout will resume. Hopefully, it will sort out the issue quickly and bring One UI 7 to more devices soon. The update has already faced significant delays. We will keep you posted.
