Samsung’s 2026 TVs and Soundbars Earn Carbon Certifications

Samsung continues to take steps to reduce the environmental impact of its devices. The company announced that 34 models from its 2026 TV and soundbar lineup have obtained carbon certifications from TUV Rheinland. This ensures that its latest premium products meet international standards for measuring and reducing carbon emissions.

Based in Germany, TUV Rheinland is a globally recognized certification organization. It grants both Product Carbon Footprint and Product Carbon Reduction certifications. The former applies to products that meet international standards for measuring greenhouse gas emissions across their full life cycles. These include manufacturing, transport, use, and disposal. The latter applies to products that already have the footprint certification and show a measurable reduction in carbon emissions compared to earlier models.
Samsung received Product Carbon Reduction certification for its 14 premium display and audio models. These include 2026 OLED models S90H and S85H (55”, 65”, 77”, and 83”), The Frame Pro (LS03HW in 65”, 75”, and 85”), and the HW-Q990H soundbar.
Meanwhile, the Korean firm earned Product Carbon Footprint certification for 20 of its latest products. These include Micro RGB TVs (R95H in 65’’, 75’’, 85’’ / R85H in 55”, 65”, 75”, 85”, 100’’), OLED models S95H (55’’, 65’’, 77’’) and S85H (48”), Mini LED (M70H), and The Frame Pro (LS03HW in 55”).

Samsung’s 2026 TV and soundbar lineup is now available for purchase from its official US store. The latest OLED TV series starts at $1,199 for the for the 48-inch S85H model. As for The Frame Pro, you can buy the 65-inch model for $1,999. On the soundbar side, the flagship HW-Q990H model hits the store at $1,999.
