A few days ago, the One UI 7.0 beta was available exclusively for the Galaxy S24 series. Fortunately, that’s no longer the case. The Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Galaxy Z Fold 6 have now received the One UI 7.0 beta update. Now, Samsung is seemingly testing the One UI 7.0 build for the Galaxy A55 and A54, but only one of them will get the beta version. Naturally, it’s the newer Galaxy A55.

As spotted by KeepUPwithOneUI, Samsung has begun testing the One UI 7.0 build for Galaxy A55 and Galaxy A54. The tipster also revealed the specific firmware versions for each device. That’s A556EXXU6ZYC1 for the Galaxy A55 and A546EXXUBZYC1 for the Galaxy A54. This suggest that Samsung is actively preparing updates for these models, although it’s better we understand the finer details regarding the rollout.
While the One UI 7.0 beta is being tested for both A55 and A54, only Galaxy A55 will actually get the beta. Samsung has confirmed that the A54 won’t be included in the beta phase. This means that despite the A54 being in the internal testing, it won’t be able to experience the beta version. The One UI 7.0 beta update for the Galaxy A55 is expected to roll out sometime in March. So Galaxy A55 users should keep an eye out on Samsung Members app.
For Galaxy A54 owners, this doesn’t mean they’ll be left out entirely. While the device will not be part of the beta testing phase, it won’t miss out on the stable One UI 7.0 update.
