Samsung’s latest Galaxy S25 series is now arriving at the doorsteps of those who pre-ordered as soon as it launched. The new phones come with One UI 7.0 right out of the box. Which, without a doubt, is the most significant update to One UI in quite some time; both in terms of features and functionality. So, you might be wondering: when will the Galaxy S24 series and other devices get the One UI 7.0 update?
Galaxy S24 and more will soon receive the One UI 7.0 update
The quick answer is that the Galaxy S24 series and other eligible devices will soon receive the One UI 7.0 update. Samsung is tipped to roll out the update in February. And since we’re already in February, keep your eyes peeled for the upcoming release. For what it’s worth, whether you’ve installed the beta builds on your Galaxy S24 or not, everyone will get the One UI 7.0 update at the same time. You don’t need to roll back to One UI 6.1.
What we anticipate is that the Galaxy S24 series will be the first to receive the update, followed by the Galaxy S23 series. Given the number of devices eligible, it’s likely the update will be rolled out in batches. Though that’s just a fair assumption. Samsung recently teased that the One UI 7.0 rollout is right around the corner. Not to mention, a new One UI 7 build for the Galaxy S24 series has already been spotted. This suggests the company is actively working on the stable version for its flagship S series from last year.
We’ll keep you in the loop when we receive more info about the One UI 7.0 stable update. When that happens, simply head to Settings > Software update > Download and install to update your Galaxy to the new version.
