While the Galaxy S25 Ultra will feature a curved body, it won’t be as pronounced as the other models in the lineup. Leaked renders have already revealed design details for all three upcoming Samsung flagships. A new leak showcasing screen protectors side-by-side offers a closer look at the subtle design differences between the devices. We also get a fair idea of the size differences.
Galaxy S25 size differences highlighted by leaked screen protectors
Samsung has long offered three flagship models in the Galaxy S lineup. The Galaxy S25 series keeps the tradition, though we are unsure about the S26 in 2026 — there are rumors about Samsung potentially canceling the base model. Next year, we’ll get a base S25, an S25+, and an S25 Ultra. All three have a curved body, while earlier Ultras featured a boxy design.
As you can see above, the Galaxy S25 Ultra’s corner curvature is noticeably subtler compared to the other two models. The smaller models have similar curvature while the Ultra offers minimal curve. Samsung is moving away from the boxy design to make the device easier to handle with one hand. Additionally, it has reduced the phone’s thickness and width for improved comfort.
Reports suggest that the Galaxy S25 Ultra will be the thinnest and lightest top-tier flagship of its generation. It allegedly measures 8.2mm in thickness and weighs 219 grams. The S24 Ultra is 8.6mm thick and weighs 233 grams. Despite a more compact build the new flagship keeps a 5,000mAh battery and offers a marginally larger screen, thanks to slimmer bezels.
Recent developments suggest Samsung might ship the base Galaxy S25 with MediaTek’s Dimensity 9400 processor. It might be the company’s replacement for the Exynos 2500, which is facing yield issues. Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 should power the Ultra model globally though we don’t have concrete evidence suggesting it. Stay tuned for more updates.
