Galaxy Z Fold 8 Wide Leaks Again in New Case Listings

Samsung is preparing to launch its next-generation foldables — the Galaxy Z Fold 8, Flip 8, and Fold 8 Wide — on July 22 this year. As we move closer to launch, more case listings have started surfacing online. Recently, the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Wide appeared in transparent case renders. This gives us a clearer look at the expected design ahead of launch.
Galaxy Z Fold 8 Wide appears in transparent case renders ahead of July launch
The Galaxy Z Fold 8 Wide, also referred to as the Wide Fold, is expected to be Samsung’s passport-style foldable. Case maker DuxDucis has now listed its AIMO Mag series transparent cases online. This reveals the device from multiple angles. The renders show the overall shape, button placement, ports and cutouts. They also give an idea of the dimensions, which align with earlier leaks.
On the back, the foldable features a flat rear panel with the camera module placed on the top left corner. At first glance, the setup looks similar to the Galaxy S25 Edge. The module houses two vertically placed camera sensors inside a slightly raised camera plateau. The LED flash sits outside, below the camera module, directly on the body.
The outer display is expected to feature a 5.4-inch screen with a centred punch-hole selfie camera and slim bezels around the panel. Once unfolded, the device opens into a larger 7.6-inch inner display. This inner display has another small punch-hole camera placed on the top right side.
One important thing visible in the listing is the charging ring built into the case. This suggests that the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Wide could support Qi2 wireless charging. However, this likely works only when paired with compatible magnetic cases and accessories, like many other Samsung devices.
These renders also reveal a few dimensions, although it is unclear whether they belong to the actual device or the case itself. The thickness appears to be around 5mm when unfolded. As a result, the Wide Fold could be impressively thin.
As of now, the complete specifications are still unknown. However, with the Galaxy Unpacked event expected to take place in London on July 22, more leaks and details should start appearing very soon. We will keep you updated as more information surfaces.
