Galaxy Z Fold 8, Fold 8 Ultra and Flip 8 Appear in Alleged Retail Store Photo

With Galaxy Unpacked just around the corner, Samsung’s upcoming foldables have leaked from almost every angle. We’ve already seen detailed specs, official-looking renders, accessories, and pricing. Now, a new leak claims to offer a real-life look at the Galaxy Z Flip 8 and Fold 8 models. However, we aren’t entirely sure if the phones in the photo are fully functional retail devices or dummy units.

Leak claims to show Samsung’s next foldables in a retail store

The image, originally shared on Reddit, allegedly shows Samsung’s three upcoming foldables on display inside a smartphone store in South Korea. The devices are positioned upright on display stands, with the clamshell Galaxy Z Flip 8 on the left, the wide-format Galaxy Z Fold 8 in the middle, and the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra flagship on the right.

According to the Reddit user, a friend working at the store confirmed that the devices are Samsung’s upcoming foldables. But even if that claim is accurate, it doesn’t necessarily mean these are production units. Samsung and its retail partners often receive dummy units before launch. This allows stores to prepare displays, accessories, and promotional materials ahead of release.

These mock devices accurately replicate the size, shape, colors, and overall appearance of the final products, but they typically lack working hardware. That makes it entirely possible that the phones shown in the leaked image are intended purely for display purposes rather than being operational devices. Nonetheless, we get another confirmation of the final design for all three models.
