Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 owners in the US can now update to the December security patch. The update is rolling out for the carrier-locked Galaxy Z Flip 4 variant (SM-F721U), with the build number F721USQS7GXKC. As is the case, Samsung’s December security update, also known as the Security Maintenance Release (SMR), addresses a range of vulnerabilities.
For what it’s worth, Samsung has patched up over 44 vulnerabilities in December alone. So make sure to update your Galaxy devices as soon as any monthly security update comes knocking at your door.
Up until now, the December 2024 security patch has been rolling out for a slew of Galaxy devices. These include the Galaxy S21, S21+, S21 Ultra, S22, S22+, S22 Ultra, S23 FE, Z Flip 4, Z Fold 4, Tab S9 FE, Tab S9, and more.
