Even though Samsung has finished the One UI 8 rollout, some regions and devices are still receiving it. And there’s some good news for Galaxy Watch 4 users waiting for the Wear OS 6 based One UI 8 Watch update in Europe and India. The update is now rolling out in these regions.

One UI 8 Watch update now available for Galaxy Watch 4 in Europe and India

According to Tarun Vats, Samsung has begun rolling out the One UI 8 Watch update for the Galaxy Watch 4 in Europe and India. The build version is R890XXU1JYK4 and, like some other recent releases, it includes the October 2025 security patch. The update weighs in at around 1.7GB.

If you are in either of these regions and own a Galaxy Watch 4, you can check for the update via the Galaxy Wearable app on your phone by going to Watch software update, then Download and install. If the update is available, install it and your watch will reboot running One UI 8 Watch.

The One UI 8 Watch update introduces a range of new features and improvements. These include new charging animations, fresh watch faces, custom tiles, and the new Now Bar on the Galaxy Watch.

For the Galaxy Watch 4, this is also the final software update, as the device is now more than four years old. Samsung launched the Galaxy Watch 4 and Galaxy Watch 4 Classic in 2021, which means they are no longer eligible for further updates. If you are considering an upgrade, Samsung frequently offers discounts on its latest Galaxy Watch lineup.
