Another Galaxy S26 FE Variant Appears on Samsung Servers With One UI 9

Earlier today, we spotted the Galaxy S26 FE on Samsung’s test servers for the first time. Now, more variants of the device are starting to appear as well. Recently, the factory-unlocked version of the Galaxy S26 FE surfaced on Samsung’s internal servers for multiple CSCs, showing that development is moving ahead.

Galaxy S26 FE’s new variant appears on test servers

The Galaxy S26 FE has now appeared on Samsung’s servers in the United States with model number SM-S741U1. This is the factory-unlocked variant of the device. The phone has been spotted across several US CSCs, like ATT, DSA, TMB and XAA, with the latest firmware build being S741U1UEU0AZE5. The S26 FE is running Android 17-based One UI 9 internally and will launch with the same out of the box.

So far, Samsung’s upcoming Fan Edition smartphone has appeared in Korean, carrier-locked and factory-unlocked variants on internal servers. However, the global variant, the “B” model, has not surfaced yet. It should appear soon as testing expands further.

Samsung is expected to launch the Galaxy S26 FE sometime in September this year. It may use Samsung’s in-house Exynos 2500 chipset. Yes, it is the same chip powering the Galaxy Z Flip 7 launched last year. The S26 FE has already appeared on Geekbench, the GSMA IMEI database and Samsung’s internal servers, with regulatory certifications likely to follow next. As a Fan Edition (FE) device, it could offer a strong overall package at a decent price.

That said, we are still far from launch, so more leaks and details should start surfacing in the coming months. For now, all eyes remain on Samsung’s next foldable lineup, which is expected to debut in late July. As always, we’ll keep you posted.
