Breaking! Samsung Rolls Out Stable One UI 8.5 Update for Galaxy S25

After months of beta testing, Samsung has officially kicked off the stable rollout of One UI 8.5 for the Galaxy S25 series. The update is currently going live in South Korea, with a broader global expansion expected to follow in the coming days. Other models should also join the party later this month.
Galaxy S25’s stable One UI 8.5 update is finally here
Introduced with the Galaxy S26 series, One UI 8.5 brings a refined user experience with improved system stability, updated design elements, and new AI-powered features. Samsung has been beta testing the new version for the Galaxy S25 lineup since December last year. It rolled out ten beta builds during this time.
Now, Samsung has officially started rolling out the stable One UI 8.5 update for the 2025 flagships. Galaxy S25, S25+, S25 Ultra, and S25 FE users who participated in the beta program in Korea are leading the line. As expected, they are getting a small update package with firmware version CZDP (BZDP for S25 FE). Those still on One UI 8 should see a larger download. After all, the update has a ton on offer.
As for users in other regions, Samsung is expected to begin the rollout in the coming days. The update should also hit a bunch of other devices over the next few weeks. Samsung is actively testing One UI 8.5 for several more models, including Galaxy S flagships, foldables, tablets, and mid-range devices.
As with most Samsung updates, availability will expand in phases. It may take some time before it reaches all regions. Users can check for the update manually by heading to Settings > Software update > Download and install. With the stable rollout now underway, Samsung is expected to extend One UI 8.5 to more Galaxy devices in the coming months. Stay tuned.
