A few hours before Samsung’s global release of the Galaxy S25 series, a community moderator spilled the beans on the One UI 7.0 release. Samsung launched the One UI 7.0 beta in the first week of December for the Galaxy S24 series in select regions. Since then, those who enrolled in the One UI 7.0 beta program have received three rounds of beta updates. There was no word on the fourth beta. This fueled speculation that Samsung might be pushing the One UI 7.0 stable version instead.
Samsung confirms One UI 7 stable update will arrive on all Galaxy S24 series simultaneously
Whether you’ve enrolled in the One UI 7.0 beta or not on your Galaxy S24 series, you’ll receive the update at the same time as everyone else. A community moderator announced, “The official version will be rolled out to public users once the update is available.” They clarified that the [One UI 7.0 update] will be available for “both Beta participants and public users.” Just to clear things up, “public users” refers to those who didn’t enroll in the beta program at any time.
The community moderator didn’t provide a specific release date. Thankfully, a recent press release from Samsung confirmed some details. According to that, the stable One UI 7.0 update will roll out “sequentially” to compatible Galaxy devices. The update should be available for most eligible devices by the end of Q1 2025. This means the rollout is expected to almost wrap up by March.
