Last week, Samsung rolled out One UI 7.0 beta for the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6. The next in line are the Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+, Galaxy S23 Ultra, Galaxy Tab S10+, Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra, and Galaxy A55. All of these devices are confirmed to get the beta update within this month. Recently, a new One UI 7.0 beta build for the Galaxy S23 Ultra surfaced on the test server, hinting at an imminent rollout.
New One UI 7.0 beta build spotted for Galaxy S23 Ultra, rollout imminent
Tipster Tarun Vats posted on his X handle that Samsung has updated the Galaxy S23 Ultra’s One UI 7.0 beta build with Version S918BXXU8ZYC3 on the test server. Notably, the build version changed from ZYC2 to ZYC3, suggesting ongoing development of the beta firmware. This likely means that the Galaxy S23 series is the next (after the Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6) to get the beta update.
As of now, there is no specific release date for the Galaxy S23’s One UI 7.0 beta rollout, but it could arrive within this week or next. Note that the beta program will be available in the US, the UK, India, and South Korea. It allows users the opportunity to experience new features before the official release. Once available for Galaxy S23 units, you can participate by applying through the Samsung Members app.
The Korean firm has already confirmed that it will release stable One UI 7.0 starting in April. Though it did not specify the devices, the Galaxy S24 series, Galaxy Z Fold 6, and Galaxy Z Flip 6 should get the stable update first. While Galaxy S23 users are waiting for a beta or stable update, Samsung has released the latest security patch. The Galaxy S23, S23+, and S23 Ultra units have started receiving the March security update in the US.
