At Computex 2026, Asia’s biggest IT show, Samsung Display is setting the stage with its latest lineup of panels. We got a closer look at Samsung’s 31.5-inch 4K 360Hz QD-OLED monitor panel, and here’s what it’s like seeing it up close.

Samsung’s latest QD-OLED panel packs 4K, 360Hz and Penta Tandem technology

Samsung Display has already confirmed the key specifications for this panel, including a 4K resolution and a 360Hz refresh rate. Seeing it in person, however, helps put those numbers into perspective on the show floor.

Samsung offered a look at the 31.5-inch QD-OLED panel during a media booth tour that SammyGuru attended earlier today at Computex. The company says this is the world’s first self-emissive monitor panel to combine 4K resolution and a 360Hz refresh rate simultaneously.

The 31.5-inch panel is based on Samsung Display’s latest Penta Tandem QD-OLED technology. This five-layer OLED structure seemingly improves brightness, efficiency, and panel lifespan compared to previous generations, while enabling demanding combinations like 4K at 360Hz.

Samsung says the panel achieves its headline specifications through optimizations to the panel circuitry and driving system. Beyond the 3840 x 2160 resolution and 360Hz refresh rate, the display also supports Dual Mode. That allows it to reach up to 680Hz at Full HD resolution.

The company is also highlighting a V-stripe RGB pixel arrangement that improves text rendering and readability, along with VESA DisplayHDR True Black 600 certification.

After spending some time with it on the show floor, this feels like the kind of panel that’s trying to check every box. Samsung calls it a “near-perfect” monitor but that’s a big claim, and one that will only hold up once this shows up in actual products. We’ll hope that doesn’t take long as the company confirmed it’s in talks with manufacturers via a press release.
