BTS Heads to London Just Before Samsung’s Galaxy Unpacked, and That MayNot be a Coincidence

Samsung hasn’t officially confirmed the location of its next Galaxy Unpacked event yet, but all signs continue to point to London. Now, another familiar name is arriving in the city just ahead of the rumored launch. K-pop supergroup BTS has announced its “BTS THE CITY ARIRANG – LONDON” events, and that may not be a coincidence. Alongside live concerts, the events also include Galaxy-powered fan experiences.

BTS to light up London ahead of Samsung’s Galaxy Unpacked

According to BTS’ official Weverse announcement, the group’s London activities begin with performances at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on July 6 and July 7. The celebrations continue with several fan events across the city, including a Samsung-backed Galaxy experience.

The Samsung Galaxy Experience Booth at London’s Outernet, running from July 8 to July 10, will allow visitors to try Galaxy devices and AI features. They can also participate in interactive experiences and purchase limited-edition merchandise inspired by the collaboration. Through these events, Samsung appears to be building hype ahead of its next Galaxy Unpacked, rumored to take place in London on July 22.

Of course, the company hasn’t announced any connection between the upcoming BTS events and Galaxy Unpacked. However, the overlap feels intentional. Samsung and BTS have worked closely together for years. The company has featured BTS members in multiple Galaxy campaigns, released special-edition products, and regularly showcased the group during major Galaxy launches.

Several BTS members have also appeared at previous Galaxy Unpacked events, helping Samsung reach younger audiences around the world. That long-standing relationship makes the latest scheduling hard to ignore.

Samsung will unveil its next generation of foldables and smartwatches at the upcoming event. We expect the Galaxy Z Fold 8, Fold 8 Ultra, Flip 8, Watch 9, and Watch Ultra 2, and potentially the Galaxy Glasses too. Whether or not BTS makes an appearance at Unpacked itself remains to be seen.
