In a little over three weeks, Samsung is expected to unveil three foldables and two smartwatches at its next Galaxy Unpacked event. The official names have been somewhat confusing, but recent certifications have all but settled the matter.
Thailand’s NBTC listings recently confirmed the foldable lineup will include the Galaxy Z Fold 8, Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra, and Galaxy Z Flip 8. The smartwatch lineup will include Galaxy Watch 9 and Galaxy Watch Ultra 2.
Accessory maker confirms upcoming foldables names
Now, fresh listings on the Wireless Power Consortium (WPC) essentially confirm the same names once again. Accessory maker Yuchuan (via 9to5Google) has certified cases for the Galaxy Z Fold 8, Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra, and Galaxy Z Flip 8 on WPC. If anything, this adds another layer of confirmation just weeks before next Unpacked.

The listings don’t reveal anything new about the phones themselves, apart from a “Qi2 Ready” label on the cases. Given Samsung will launch the new devices in less than a month, these certifications leave little doubt about the branding.
That said, if you’re planning to buy one of Samsung’s upcoming foldables, now is a good time to sign up for our Mystery Box program. Every eligible purchase comes with a box of accessories at no extra cost. Just keep in mind that it’s available only in the US.
