Leaks have already revealed plenty about One UI 7.0, which is being hailed as the biggest OS update in Samsung’s history. Alongside tons of new features, including some AI tools, the company is working on a UI overhaul that injects a new look and feel to Galaxy devices. Samsung has improved system animations for an unparalleled Galaxy experience.
As part of these changes, Samsung is introducing a more versatile Quick Panel with extreme customizability. We have seen the new design in leaks earlier, and a fresh leak gives us another close look at it. You can check out the images below to get a glimpse of what is on the way for Galaxy users. The best part is that One UI 7.0 lets users customize the Quick Panel like never before.
The lock screen also gets a visual upgrade with a blur effect for screen elements to blend with the wallpaper. Noted Samsung insider Ice Universe says this background blur effect doesn’t apply to system animations in the most recent One UI 7.0 internal build. Hopefully, the company is working on it or will consider its addition later.
The tipster also encourages Galaxy users to request a depth effect for lock screen wallpapers and a frosted glass effect for lock screen notifications, both of which are currently absent. Beta participants can include these suggestions in their feedback for One UI 7.0. With any luck, Samsung will roll out public beta programs soon. Eligible users in supported regions can join the beta through the Samsung Members app.
