Samsung has confirmed that the next Galaxy Unpacked event will take place on July 22. The company is expected to unveil a range of new products in London, including foldable phones, smartwatches, and maybe something even more exciting. Here’s how to watch Galaxy Unpacked on July 22 and what you can expect.

How to watch Galaxy Unpacked on July 22

Samsung will livestream Galaxy Unpacked on July 22 from London. The event starts at 2:00 PM BST, which is 9:00 AM ET, 6:00 AM PT, and 6:30 PM IST.

You can watch the event live on Samsung’s official website, YouTube channel, and Samsung Newsroom. SammyGuru will also bring you live coverage, breaking news, and hands-on updates as everything unfolds.

What to expect at Galaxy Unpacked on July 22

Samsung’s teaser carries the tagline “A new shape unfolds,” and that all but confirms what’s coming. While the company, as usual, is staying tight-lipped about what’s in store, we can tell you what to expect.

Galaxy Z Fold 8 will bring a new design

The biggest surprise at the event will be the Galaxy Z Fold 8. This is going to look like a wider book-style foldable with a different screen ratio. It will feature dual 50MP + 50MP camera setup on the rear.

It could feature a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip and a refined hinge with a less noticeable crease. If the leaks are accurate, this could be Samsung’s boldest foldable redesign in years. You can check out our Galaxy Z Fold 8 leaks roundup for everything you need to know, including the expected specs.

Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra will replace the regular Fold

Don’t let the name fool ya. Despite the name, it will be a direct successor to the Galaxy Z Fold 7 rather than an entirely new premium lineup. Of course, it’s going to be the top-shelf foldable at the event.

It is expected to feature a triple-camera setup on the rear, headlined by a 200MP primary camera. Rumors also point to a bigger battery and several other upgrades, all of which you can read about in detail in our Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra preview.

Galaxy Z Flip 8 should get meaningful refinements

Then comes the clamshell foldable, Galaxy Z Flip 8, which will debut alongside the Fold 8 brothers. For what it’s worth, it likely won’t reinvent the wheel, but we can still expect to see some improvements.

A faster processor, slimmer design, smaller display crease, and better efficiency are all rumored. The overall experience may feel familiar, yet more polished than last year’s model. New Galaxy Watches are on the way

Other than the foldables, Samsung will also take the wraps off two new smartwatches, which are Galaxy Watch 9 and Galaxy Watch Ultra 2. The renders of both were recently leaked, and you can take a look at them below.

Both watches could receive faster processors and larger batteries. The Ultra 2 may also deliver longer battery life, brighter visuals, and new health and fitness features for outdoor users.

Galaxy Glasses could show up too!

One more thing that might steal the spotlight could be Samsung’s Galaxy Glasses. It’ll run Android XR operating system and be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon AR1 chipset.

Just recently, we managed to get our hands on a bunch of animations showing how buttons and gestures will work on the Galaxy Glasses. The smart glasses are expected to focus on AI features, voice controls, cameras, and speakers instead of a built-in display.

With new foldables, smartwatches, and possibly smart glasses on the agenda, Galaxy Unpacked on July 22 could offer a glimpse into Samsung’s next chapter. We’ll know soon enough. As mentioned, SammyGuru will be on the show floor, bringing you all the updates live from the event.
