Samsung brings its June 2026 update to several Galaxy Tab models
Over the past few weeks, Samsung has released the June 2026 security update for several Galaxy devices. Almost all eligible Galaxy smartphones have already picked up the latest security fixes. The company has now shifted its focus to tablets, rolling out the update for a bunch of Galaxy Tab models.
The June 2026 update is now live for the Galaxy Tab S9, S10, and S11 series, including Lite and FE (Fan Edition) models. Moreover, Samsung is pushing the fixes to the Galaxy Tab A11 lineup and Tab Active 5. Most of these devices are getting the update in Korea, though a wider rollout should begin soon.
Samsung’s June 2026 security patch addresses 45 security vulnerabilities discovered in previous software versions, helping strengthen the overall security of these devices. If you own any of the aforementioned Galaxy Tab models, you can check for the update manually by heading to Settings > Software update > Download and install. If there isn’t any update available for you today, wait a few days and check again.
Note that this update doesn’t bring any new features. It is all about the latest security fixes. Samsung recently rolled out One UI 8.5 for eligible Galaxy smartphones and tablets. It is also preparing One UI 9 (based on Android 17) for them. The new version is expected in a few months, with the rollout possibly beginning around September. We will keep you posted.
