Galaxy Z Fold 8 Series May Ship With Gemini Intelligence

Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 8 (Wide) and Z Fold 8 Ultra have been making a lot of headlines in recent weeks. A fresh leak now suggests that the new foldable phones may ship with Gemini Intelligence, Google’s advanced AI system. This will allow the company to offer next-level AI experience in its book-style foldable lineup.
Samsung may integrate Gemini Intelligence into the Galaxy Z Fold 8 series
Gemini Intelligence integrates advanced hardware and software to help users complete tasks more efficiently. The AI system understands context, automates actions across apps, and proactively assists users throughout the day. For example, it can search the class syllabus in Gmail and add the required books to your shopping cart.
While Google has yet to roll out Gemini Intelligence, Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 8 series could be among the first devices to support the new AI system. Tipster Lanzuk claims that the Galaxy Z Fold 8 (Wide) and Z Fold 8 Ultra will come with Gemini Intelligence pre-installed.
The tipster says this will “provide various unique enhanced AI features from the first boot, such as composing emails between apps, executing tasks between apps without separate settings, real-time translation, and visual search using the camera.”
Furthermore, the system will activate Android Halo (which shows AI activity in real time) instantly on Fold models. As such, users will get at-a-glance visibility into what their AI agent is doing in the background.
Samsung could also launch the Galaxy Z Flip 8 alongside the Z Fold 8 series. However, the tipster has not shared anything about Gemini Intelligence’s support for the clamshell foldable. We’ll find out soon if the Flip 8 will also gain support for the new AI system. Samsung’s next-gen foldables will likely go official on July 22 at an event in London.
