Samsung could be done rolling out One UI 7.0 beta updates. New evidence suggests the company will now directly release the stable version. It has launched three beta builds for the Galaxy S24 series so far. The beta program isn’t available for other devices.
The next One UI 7.0 update could be the stable version
Samsung recently released the third One UI 7.0 beta update for the Galaxy S24, S24+, and S24 Ultra. The latest build comes with firmware version ZXLJ — it is the second beta update for users in India and Poland. The company was expected to roll out at least one more beta build before introducing the stable version with the Galaxy S25 series later this year.
However, since it released Beta 3, Samsung hasn’t uploaded a new One UI 7.0 test firmware for the Galaxy S24 series to its server. Instead, it recently uploaded a stable build with firmware version BYA2. According to @tarunvats33 on X, this is the same version as the latest One UI 7.0 build for the Galaxy S25 series.
This suggests Samsung is no longer working on the fourth beta update. It might now introduce the stable version, with the Galaxy S25 series on January 22. Well, the new flagships are already known to run One UI 7.0 out of the box. However, there may not be a new beta update for Galaxy S24 users. The 2024 flagships could receive the stable update in late January or early February.
All of this is mere speculation based on recent developments. Samsung could still release a new beta update if deemed necessary. Meanwhile, if you plan to buy the Galaxy S25, S25+, or S25 Ultra, pre-reservations are now live on Samsung’s official website. The company offers exclusive benefits if you pre-reserve the phones early. Pre-orders should be available immediately after the launch event.
