Well, well, well! The Samsung Galaxy S25 series is less than a month away. At the Galaxy Unpacked event, Samsung will unveil all three models in the Galaxy S25 family. Rumor has it that Samsung might also tease the Galaxy S25 Slim during the same event. To top it off, a new report suggests that Google could offer a free Gemini Advanced subscription with the upcoming Galaxy S25 series.
Galaxy S25 series could offer free Gemini Advanced subscription
Folks over at Android Authority have spotted some intriguing strings in the APK file of the Google app v15.52.37 beta. While digging through the code, the publication uncovered hints a free Gemini Advanced trial subscription could be bundled with the Galaxy S25 series.
According to these strings, there are multiple tiers for the free Gemini Advanced trial. These range from three months to over a year. What’s interesting is that all of these references seem to be tied to Samsung. Android Authority hopefully explains that the standard Galaxy S25 could get a three-month free trial of Gemini Advanced. Meanwhile, the Galaxy S25 Plus and Galaxy S25 Ultra might get six months and a full year of free Gemini Advanced subscription, respectively.
An official confirmation might come at Galaxy Unpacked
Things are still under wraps for now. So we’ll likely learn more about what’s in store at the upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event. Speaking of which, Galaxy Unpacked will take place in San Francisco on January 22. Just two days later, pre-orders for the Galaxy S25 series may kick off.
