Samsung Confirms Galaxy A27 Existence — No Launch Date Yet

Samsung has already launched the Galaxy A37 and A57 earlier this year. Now, the company is preparing to add the Galaxy A27 to the lineup. Expected to launch later this year, leaks have already revealed plenty about the phone. Recently, Samsung accidentally confirmed the Galaxy A27’s existence via an official page on its website.

First spotted by GalaxyClub, Samsung’s official website for Brazil listed the Galaxy A27 as a compatible device for Samsung Wallet. It appeared alongside the Galaxy A37, Galaxy A57, Galaxy A17, and Galaxy A17 5G. Interestingly, the Galaxy S25 Slim name also showed up. Earlier, this was expected to be the name for what is now called the Galaxy S25 Edge.

The Galaxy A27 is expected to bring a cleaner and more modern design compared to the Galaxy A26. It may replace the old waterdrop notch with a punch-hole front camera. The bezels could get slimmer, especially the bottom chin. Additionally, the phone may keep a key island-style frame design, delivering a premium look. It could be around 7.9mm thick.

On the front, the device is expected to feature a 6.7-inch display, similar to its predecessor. At the back, it may include a triple camera setup arranged vertically on a raised camera island, similar to the Galaxy A37 and A57. The flash will likely sit outside the camera module, directly on the body. The front camera could be upgraded to a bigger 12MP sensor for better photos and videos.

The phone may pack a 5000mAh battery with 25W fast charging support. It is expected to run Android 16 QPR2 with One UI 8.5 out of the box. Samsung has not confirmed the exact launch date yet. However, the Galaxy A27 should arrive sometime later this year.
