Samsung TV Plus Lets Fans Watch Monthly SM K-Pop Concerts

Samsung now offers K-Pop fans a new way to enjoy live concerts from home. The company’s streaming platform, Samsung TV Plus, will bring monthly concert broadcasts from popular SM Entertainment artists. These broadcasts will be available on the platform’s SMTOWN channel.

Samsung TV Plus has teamed up with SM Entertainment to bring a regular schedule of concert streams and encore performances. If you have access to the platform, you can enjoy these concerts for free from the comfort of your home. The streaming service is available across several Samsung devices, including Samsung TVs, Galaxy phones, XR headsets, Galaxy Tab, Smart Monitor, and Family Hub lineups.

The best thing is that the SMTOWN channel, the Samsung TV Plus destination for SM Entertainment content, is available in several markets. These include Australia, New Zealand, Brazil, Mexico, and Korea. As such, fans in different countries can enjoy K-pop concert broadcasts.

The first tour in the series will feature NCT WISH. Their concert, titled “INTO THE WISH: Our WISH ENCORE IN SEOUL,” will premiere live on Saturday, May 30 at 7 p.m. local time. After the premiere, the platform will stream encore programming and future monthly concert broadcasts every Saturday at the same time (7 p.m). This will give fans regular access to SM performances from home.

If you want to set reminders before each stream, you can use SmartThings on your smartphone or Samsung TV. The app informs viewers before concerts begin, so they do not miss live performances.
