Samsung has released a new update for its Nice Catch Good Lock module. Version 7.0 of the app distributed via the Galaxy Store brings bug fixes and performance improvements, including a fix for a Sound history issue. The update was rolled out a few days ago and is widely available to Galaxy users globally.

Nice Catch update address a Soud history bug

Nice Catch is a handy app for determining various system sounds and vibrations. It can track the apps that make a sound or vibration on your Galaxy phone. It is part of Samsung’s Good Lock customization suite. Lately, some Galaxy users have been facing issues with the sound tracker, aka Sound history. The tool wasn’t functioning properly, missing some sounds.

Samsung has fixed those issues with the latest update for Nice Catch. It recently released version 7.0 of the app to address the problem. “Bug fix in Sound history,” the official release notes state. The update also brings “minor improvements” to the app’s overall functioning. Samsung recommends turning on and off the Sound history toggle to make it work properly again.

Version 7.0 of Nice Catch started rolling out to Galaxy users a few days ago and recently reached users worldwide. You can check for updates from the Menu tab in the Galaxy Store. Alternatively, you can search for the app in the Store. You can also locate Nice Catch within Good Lock and tap the “Update” button to install the latest version on your phone.

Samsung is expected to bring more improvements to Good Lock and its module with the One UI 7 update. The Android 15-based update may also bring new Good Lock tools, including a gaming-focused customization feature. The company is currently testing the new version internally, with a public beta scheduled to arrive in December. A stable One UI 7 release will follow in early 2025.
