One UI 9 Beta 2 Released: See Full Changelog

Samsung has pushed the One UI 9 Beta 2 update for its latest Galaxy S26 series in select regions, including the US. This update mainly focuses on fixing known bugs instead of bringing new features to the system. The company also shared the complete changelog, detailing key fixes, which you can check below.
Here’s the complete changelog of One UI 9 Beta 2
The second beta of One UI 9 comes with firmware version ZZEQ. In this build, Samsung has addressed a bunch of bugs discovered in the first beta. This is part of the company’s effort to make the software more polished before the final version, expected to debut alongside next-gen Galaxy foldable smartphones.
Samsung fixes an issue related to GPUWatch, a tool for developers to observe GPU activity in apps. Some users experienced interruption pop-ups while using the tool, but they no longer show up in the latest beta build. The company also improved the non-functioning issue in the routine app. Moreover, the update fixes display errors within the status bar.
Samsung also resolved an issue related to the lock screen clock font. The system failed to apply font changes in the LockStar installation status. Another bug that triggered the lock screen clock to gradually move down has also been fixed in this update.
In addition, Samsung improved the delays experienced when deleting messages in bulk. The Korean firm has also fixed a setting error in the Game Booster entry point. As a result, you can expect an improved gaming experience on Galaxy devices.
As you can see, the changelog is mainly focused on bug fixes, which are expected in a second beta build. Based on Android 17, the first One UI 9 beta brought big changes to the system. As early testers began exploring the build, they noticed several bugs and reported them to Samsung. While the latest beta may not address every issue, the company should fix more problems throughout the beta testing journey.
