Samsung Members Picks Up One UI 8.5 Design with New Update

We are officially in the week where Samsung is expected to begin the stable One UI 8.5 rollout for the Galaxy S25 lineup. Alongside this, the company is continuing to refresh more system apps with the new One UI 8.5 design language. Recently, the Samsung Members app picked up this redesign.

Samsung Members app gets refreshed with One UI 8.5-inspired interface

Samsung has released a new update for the Samsung Members app, bringing several visual refinements. The update introduces more rounded corners and a cleaner overall layout. With One UI 8.5, Samsung has been shifting towards a pill-shaped design language across many apps like Gallery and Phone. Now, the same approach has arrived on Samsung Members as well.

Previously, the app featured a traditional horizontal navigation bar at the bottom with Discover, Community, and Support tabs. Samsung has now transformed this into a floating pill-shaped bar placed near the bottom centre of the screen.

Inside the Community section, the Categories button now appears as a small floating circle. Meanwhile, Profile, Search, and More options are grouped together in a rounded pill layout at the top right when you scroll down. It helps in creating a cleaner and more minimal interface.

Samsung has also added smaller visual tweaks throughout the app. These include a more rounded comment box, a floating, rounded back button, and pill-shaped controls for like, share, and more options while viewing posts. Such smaller refinements aim to create a smoother and more polished user experience. This One UI 8.5 redesigned Members app carries the version 5.8.00.10.

Overall, Samsung appears focused on delivering a more unified design experience across Galaxy devices with One UI 8.5.
