Samsung may not roll out new One UI 7 beta updates anymore. The company appears to have wrapped up the beta program and gearing up for the stable release. It will introduce One UI 7 with the Galaxy S25 series next week and gradually expand it to more devices.

Samsung’s One UI 7 beta program might have ended, stable update spotted

Launched in early December, Samsung released three One UI 7 beta updates for the Galaxy S24 series. The last update came a week ago, bearing the build version ZXLJ. Usually, the company starts preparing the next beta build as soon as the latest one goes out. However, a week after the release of Beta 3, there’s still no new version on its server.

Meanwhile, Samsung uploaded a stable One UI 7 build for the Galaxy S24 trio. This fueled speculations about the company potentially ending the beta program and jumping to the stable version with the next release. X user @FamilyTaes confirms it, citing insider information about Samsung’s One UI 7 plans.

“There won’t be any more beta builds now,” they claim. “The beta program has concluded, Samsung should announce it soon.” As mentioned above, the company will ship the Galaxy S25 series with One UI 7 out of the box. The big update will roll out to other devices after the new flagship launch on January 22.

As things stand, Samsung is testing the same final build for the Galaxy S24 and S25 series (YA2). While that doesn’t necessarily mean this will be the official One UI 7 build for these devices — the company could introduce a new build in the coming days — it is different from the last beta release. Samsung must have addressed the few bugs present in Beta 3 and resolved the UI issues.

The stable One UI 7 update could go live for the Galaxy S24 series at the end of January. Other eligible models, including the Galaxy S23 series, should receive the update starting in February.
