Samsung has launched the Infinite AI Wine Refrigerator in its home country, South Korea. The refrigerator lets you store and manage your wine collection with AI for convenient use. It is part of the company’s premium Infinite line of home appliances, which integrates luxurious materials, elegant design, and advanced technology.

The AI Wine Refrigerator tracks and manages bottles automatically

The refrigerator features an AI Wine Manager that manages wine using an advanced AI Vision camera. The camera (at the top of the unit) detects the entry and exit of wine bottles. It also scans their labels to collect details such as the wine’s name, grape variety, and vintage. Thanks to SmartThings, the AI Wine Manager automatically records this information. As such, you can check your wine inventory, management status, and storage locations.

The refrigerator offers optimal storage conditions. It can hold up to 101 bottles while storing ingredients like cheese and fruit. There are three cooling zones with adjustable temperatures ranging from 3°C to 18°C. To maintain wine quality, the appliance features triple-layered UV-blocking glass, which blocks approximately 92% of external ultraviolet rays.

Design-wise, the refrigerator has a premium look that aligns with the Infinite series. We get a luxurious Edge Frame design for the door bezels, offering a three-dimensional effect. Thanks to the black metal materials, the Tunnel Lighting creates a sophisticated atmosphere.

Furthermore, the appliance comes with a host of smart features. For example, the Auto Open Door operates with a light touch or via Bixby voice commands. The refrigerator also uses a low-noise, low-vibration compressor to create a quiet, comfortable user environment. It is available for purchase in South Korea for 6,499,000 won through the company’s online and offline stores.

“This new product features the newly equipped ‘AI Vision’ function, significantly enhancing convenience from wine purchase to management,” said Moon Jong-seung, Vice President of Samsung Electronics’ DA Business Division. “We will continue to introduce premium home appliances that innovate users’ lifestyles based on advanced AI technology.”
