In recent years, Samsung has heavily focused on integrating AI features into its wide range of products, including Galaxy smartphones, TVs, and smart home appliances. The company now aims to take this integration to the next level by developing context-aware, agentic AI capabilities that can help users across devices. The goal is to create a more seamless and intelligent ecosystem.

Samsung aims to redefine user experience with Agentic AI

According to tipster @theonecid, Samsung is developing context-aware, agentic AI companions. This means the Korean firm is working on AI that can not only respond to user commands but also fulfill their needs autonomously (minimal human intervention). The tipser further said these capabilities will directly integrate into the operating system. This could allow the AI to access apps, settings, and data across the device ecosystem for smarter assistance.

Meanwhile, Samsung has also hinted at a new level of AI integration across devices. “Generative AI has already become an essential tool across daily life and industries,” said Paul (Kyungwhoon) Cheun, CTO of the DX Division at Samsung Electronics and Head of Samsung Research. “As we enter the era of Agentic AI, Samsung will continue to focus on developing AI technologies that provide users with tangible benefits.”

Samsung is holding the two-day AI Forum 2025 event (September 15 and 16), where leading scholars and industry experts share the latest breakthroughs in AI. Day Two will focus on the era of agentic AI and boosting productivity, under the theme “Generative to Agentic AI.” The company explains that these intelligent systems are capable of making autonomous decisions and carrying out tasks on their own.

During the technical sessions, Samsung Research representatives will showcase several AI technologies that automate key tasks. These include camera AI for automatic color temperature adjustment, automatic dubbing that replicates the original speaker’s voice, and multi-agent systems for generating reports automatically. Furthermore, they will present document AI that converts different file formats automatically into structured data for LLMs and agent systems.
