Samsung is gearing up to launch the Galaxy Tab S10 series. Though not officially confirmed, the new flagship Android tablets are likely to debut on September 26. The company has already opened pre-reservations in some markets, saying the tablets will arrive “very soon”. Ahead of that, official marketing materials for the devices have leaked to reveal their key specs.
Leaked official materials reveal Galaxy Tab S10 specs
Unlike the past two generations, Samsung’s upcoming flagship tablet lineup includes only two models. The company has the Galaxy Tab S10+ and Tab S10 Ultra in the pipeline. The base model is gone, likely to create more space for the Fan Edition lineup. The other two models also don’t bring many notable upgrades.
Samsung has made the tablets marginally thinner while still maintaining a 12.4-inch and 14.6-inch display. It appears to be the same Dynamic AMOLED 2X panel, with unchanged resolution, refresh rate, and brightness. However, the Galaxy Tab S10 series offers anti-reflective coating on the screen, a revolutionary tech Samsung introduced with the Galaxy S24.
The new tablets also switch from Qualcomm processors to MediaTek’s Dimensity 9300+. Like the Tab S9 series, the Plus model gets 12GB of RAM, while the Ultra is expected to come in 12GB and 16GB RAM variants. Storage options may include 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB. For a change, Samsung now supports 1.5GB microSD cards, up from 1GB cards.
Cameras carry over unchanged — a 13MP main camera and an 8MP ultrawide lens on the back. For selfies and video calls, you get a 12MP camera on the front, though the Ultra also adds a 12MP front-facing ultrawide camera. The tablets pack 10,090mAh and 11,200mAh batteries, respectively. Both support 45W wired charging. They also boast IP68 dust and water resistance.
The next big upgrade is reserved for the Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra. It supports Wi-Fi 7, while the Plus remains on Wi-Fi 6E. However, both are said to get seven years of updates. Debuted with Android 14, the tablets will receive feature updates up to Android 21 alongside regular security patches. Stay tuned for the official launch next week, if the rumored date is accurate.
