At Bett 2025, Europe’s big edtech exhibition, Samsung pulled the curtains off its new “AI-powered” Interactive Display, or simply put, a digital whiteboard. These Interactive Displays are part of the WAFX-P series designed for classrooms. And they’re packed with a bunch of AI features to help take learning to the next level.

Samsung’s latest AI-powered Interactive Display boasts features like Circle to Search on a big screen

Samsung unveiled its AI-powered Interactive Display, available in 65-inch, 75-inch, and 86-inch screen size options. The display runs Android 15 and supports several AI features, with the spotlight on Circle to Search, which Samsung debuted with Galaxy S24 series. Since then, it has found its way onto several phones, tablets, even laptops. And guess what? It’s now on an 86-inch big display, too. It’s hard to imagine Circle to Search running on such a massive screen, but Samsung is proving it’s no flash in the pan.

The displays come with 16GB of RAM, a 128GB SSD, and an unspecified octa-core GPU. All screen sizes support 450 nits of peak brightness. They also feature a built-in 4K camera, microphone, and 20-watt speaker, which are needed for video conferencing. With remote education now the norm ever since the pandemic, these features fit the bill perfectly. Beyond that, Samsung’s Interactive Display supports Google Classroom and Google Drive.

As for the AI features, apart from Circle to Search, Samsung’s latest display includes AI Summary and Live Transcript. The former can automatically generate lesson recaps, while the latter converts spoken words into text in real time. To power these AI capabilities, Samsung added a neural processing unit (NPU) capable of performing up to 4.8 trillion operations per second.

Since these displays are mainly targeted at the education sector, don’t get your hopes up for them to hit the consumer market anytime soon. Unsurprisingly, Samsung hasn’t spilled the beans on pricing in its press release.
