Google Home Speaker with Gemini Available for Pre-Order in the US

Google has opened pre-orders for its new Google Home Speaker in the United States. The speaker is the company’s first audio device built for Gemini, its advanced AI assistant. It makes conversations with a voice assistant more natural while also serving as a smart entertainment device.

Back in October 2025, Google gave us a glimpse of its Gemini-powered Home Speaker. Now, the Mountain View giant makes the device available for purchase in select global markets. In the US, the Google Home Speaker is available for pre-order for $99.99 through the Google Store. You can pick from four color options: Jade, Berry, Porcelain, and Hazel. The company will kick off general availability on June 25.

For early buyers (before September 30), Google is also offering a six-month free trial of Google Home Premium. This plan unlocks a more capable version of Gemini for Home. For example, you can access Gemini Live to experience free-flowing chats. Likewise, Home Briefs gives you a summary of what happened around your home while you were away.

The speaker uses a quad-core processor based on Cortex-A55 cores with a Neural Processing Unit (NPU). It comes with 1GB of RAM and 4GB of storage. Thanks to a 58mm full-range driver, it delivers 360-degree sound. This means you can enjoy music and other content with uniform sound from every direction. Moreover, it features 3 far-field microphones and a 2-stage mic mute switch (hardware mute).

The best thing is that you can pair two Google Home Speakers with a Google TV Streamer for a more immersive home theater experience. The device also supports Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, and Thread 1.3, so you can easily set up with modern smart home devices.

Speaking of design, the Google Home Speaker measures 3.4 inches tall and 4.2 inches in diameter. It is wrapped in a custom 3D-knit fabric and includes a light ring at the base.
