Google continues to improve its AI assistant, Gemini, to make daily life smarter and easier. The assistant will reportedly get a new feature called “Your Day,” which may give you a personalized daily briefing by pulling key information from different Google services. The feature is currently in development, so you will need to wait for its official release.

Gemini will now summarize your day from Google services

Through an APK teardown, Android Authority has given us an early look at how Gemini’s upcoming “Your Day” feature may work. As you can see in the images, the Gemini sidebar adds a dedicated section for this feature, so you can quickly access daily updates.

This section appears to gather data from different sources, such as Gmail and past Gemini chat. Each item in the list will display the associated View button, letting you open the actual content straight away. There are also link icon that shows where the information is coming from, helping you understand the context.

All these items show up under a “Top of mind” heading to spotlight the key things for the day. However, that’s not the end of it. The feature could also add another section focused on your goals, likely within the Active goals headings. The Assistant could prepare goals based on your search history to offer a more personalized experience.

As mentioned above, “Your Day” is in development, so Google may refine it further before making it available to the public. The company is gearing up to hold its annual developer conference, Google I/O 2026, on May 19-20. The outlet expects that the Mountain View giant may officially announce the feature at the event.

Meanwhile, Gemini recently brought new memory and chat history import tools to its platform. These tools will let you easily bring your memories, context, and chat history from other AI apps directly into Gemini.
