Were you hoping to buy the Galaxy Z TriFold (review) in the US? Well, tough luck. The last online sale sold out in roughly five minutes. It was then made available only at select Experience Stores. Now, even that option’s gone, as Samsung has announced that the Galaxy Z TriFold is completely sold out.

Galaxy Z TriFold sold out, here’s what Samsung wants you to buy instead

Folks over at 9to5Google spotted the change on Samsung’s website, which now reads as follows.

“The limited-run Galaxy Z TriFold is now completely sold out. Keep visiting samsung.com to make sure you don’t miss upcoming one-of-a-kind innovations, and shop the latest foldables and premium mobile devices now from Samsung Galaxy.”

Instead, Samsung now wants you to buy the Galaxy Z Fold 7 or the Galaxy S26 Ultra. Both of which it has highlighted beneath the statement. It doesn’t look like Samsung will restock the Galaxy Z TriFold, at least in the US. But that’s not all bad news.

A supply chain report earlier today confirmed that Samsung is developing an enhanced hinge for the second generation of the Galaxy Z TriFold. There’s no official confirmation yet on whether a Galaxy Z TriFold 2 will see the light of day, but if Samsung succeeds in its efforts, we could see a better second-generation TriFold, along with more innovations in next-gen Galaxy Z Fold devices.

After all, something as futuristic as the Galaxy Z TriFold should definitely get a sequel, even if it takes some extra time. And if you want the best available option, you can either get the Galaxy Z Fold 7 or wait a few months for the Galaxy Z Fold 8 or Galaxy Z Wide Fold. These two are expected in July. Our mystery box sign-ups are now live, which means you’ll get free gifts with these foldables in the US.
