It’s all but confirmed that new foldables are coming soon. According to reports, Samsung will take the wraps off them in July, likely in London. The company will likely announce the Galaxy Z Fold 8, Galaxy Z Flip 8, and Galaxy Z Fold 8 Wide. The third one’s the most anticipated, and an interesting one at that.

Galaxy Z Fold 8 Wide cases give early look

Popular tipster Ice Universe has posted images of Galaxy Z Fold 8 Wide protective cases, which they say are taken from an Alibaba listing. These appear to be third-party cases, which typically start showing up around this time, a few months ahead of launch. Below, you can take a look at them.

As previous rumors suggested, the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Wide will feature a dual-camera setup on the rear, with a flash placed below the sensors. There are no dimensions here, but the main screen might have a 4:3 aspect ratio when opened.

The back features a vertical, pill-shaped cutout at the upper left, while the remaining section stays fully open, framing just the bezels of the secondary screen. On the right edge, there is a precise cutout for the power button, which also integrates a fingerprint scanner.

All told, we can expect more such case listings to appear, as they do, in the coming weeks. If you plan to buy one of these foldables, whether the Fold 8, Fold 8 Wide, or Flip 8, you’ll want to make sure you sign up for the mystery box. We send a bunch of free gifts with every eligible purchase, delivered to your doorstep. It’s a US-only program.
