Galaxy Tab S9 Discounted by up to $150 with Back to School Deals

Samsung recently launched the Galaxy Tab A9+ Kids Edition in the US, a timely introduction as schools reopen. It’s a decent mid-range Android tablet aimed at kids, with built-in tools for parents to manage and monitor their online activities. But if you are looking for something more powerful, the company is running a Back to School promotion, offering great discounts on its Galaxy Tab S9 series.

Samsung offers Back to School deals on the Galaxy Tab S9

Launched in July 2023, the Galaxy Tab S9 series is Samsung’s latest flagship Android tablet lineup. Alongside the base model, the company has a Galaxy Tab S9+ and a Tab S9 Ultra. Normally priced at $799 and above, you can grab discounts of up to $150 on these tablets with Samsung’s ongoing Back to School deals. The offers are available for everyone, not just students and teachers.

The base Galaxy Tab S9 variant has 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. It normally costs $799.99, but Samsung offers the device at just $699.99 during its Back to School promotion. That’s a flat $100 discount on a powerful flagship Android tablet featuring an 11-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with S Pen support, quad stereo speakers, Wi-Fi 6E, and Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset under the hood.

Its 12GB+256GB variant is down $120 from $919.99 to $799.99. If you pick the Galaxy Tab S9+ with a 12.4-inch screen, you get a $120 discount on its 12GB+256GB variant, bringing the cost down to $879.99. Doubling the storage takes the price to $969.99, a $150 discount off its regular price. The tablet adds an 8MP ultrawide lens alongside the 13MP main camera on its back, the same as the base model.

Similar discounts on the top-of-the-line Ultra model

The Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra has the same rear camera setup as the Plus. But the 12MP selfie camera (available across the lineup) is flanked by a 12MP ultrawide lens here. This model, with a 14.6-inch display, also costs $150 less during Samsung’s Back to School promotion. The 12GB+256GB variant costs $1,049.99, while the 512GB storage option costs $1,169.99. Note that these offers are only available on the Wi-Fi version.

It’s still a deal as good as any. And if you have an old tablet that you don’t plan to use any longer, you can trade it in. It will knock off a few hundred dollars more from the total price. Depending on which device you trade in and which Galaxy Tab S9 model you buy, you can get a trade-in credit of up to $800. Head over to Samsung’s official website to check out these amazing deals on the Galaxy Tab S9 series.
