Samsung Releases June 2026 Update for Galaxy S26 in More Countries

Samsung has begun rolling out the June 2026 update to the Galaxy S26 series globally, following its initial release in South Korea earlier this month. The update is now reaching users across Europe, India, and select other markets. It should soon arrive in the US and the rest of the world.
Galaxy S26 June 2026 update reaches more users globally
A few days ago, Samsung rolled out a new update for the Galaxy S26, S26+, and S26 Ultra in its home market. The update carried the June 2026 security patch, which addresses over 40 vulnerabilities across the Galaxy family. Some of the vulnerabilities are rated critical or high-severity issues by Samsung, Google, and their partners.
These security fixes are now hitting Galaxy S26 units in additional markets, marking a global rollout. The update arrives with firmware build numbers ending in AZF1, the same as in Korea. However, the exact build version could vary in some regions, depending on the model and carrier.
Unlike major One UI releases, the June update does not introduce any notable new features for the Galaxy S26 series. Instead, it focuses on improving device security and overall system reliability. The download size is relatively small, making it a routine maintenance release rather than a feature-packed update. Users should still install the update as soon as it reaches their phones.
To check for updates on your Galaxy S26, go to Settings > Software update > Download and install. As usual, availability may vary depending on region and carrier schedules. If no update shows up today, wait a few days and check again. It should arrive soon as Samsung continues expanding the rollout across global markets. Other Galaxy devices should also get the June 2026 patch in the coming days.
