Samsung is now rolling out the April 2026 security update to Galaxy S24 (Exynos) units in Europe. It is available to users who have not joined the One UI 8.5 beta program. The update carries build version S921BXXSECZD1 and is about 304.91 MB in size.

The April 2026 security update fixes a total of 47 security issues found in both the Android system and One UI. Some of these are classified as critical, while others are high-severity vulnerabilities. The update also includes specific patches for Samsung’s semiconductor components.

If you have a Galaxy S24 (Exynos) and live in Europe, you can download the update right away. Those in other regions should keep checking for the latest security update on their Galaxy S24 with the Exynos 2400 chipset. If it is not available yet, it likely will not take much longer.

To install the update, go to Settings > Software update > Download and install. Once the update file is downloaded, tap Install now. The installation will take some time and will be followed by a reboot, after which your phone will start up with the latest security patch installed.
