Galaxy S23 Lineup Joins February 2026 Security Update Rollout

Earlier this week, Samsung rolled out the February 2026 security update for a bunch of Galaxy devices. The company is now expanding the rollout to more models. The Galaxy S23 lineup recently joined the party, with the S23 FE in the mix. The update should hit additional devices in the coming days.

February 2026 update now live for the Galaxy S23 series

The rollout began with the Galaxy S25 series and quickly expanded to recent foldables, including the Galaxy Z TriFold. Samsung is now rolling out the update for the Galaxy S23, S23+, S23 Ultra, and S23 FE. As usual, Korean users are first to it, but a global release may not be too far off.

A screenshot shared by @ya_sking12767 on X shows a 441MB package for the Galaxy S23 Ultra. The new firmware build version ends with EZB2, though the size and build number could vary depending on the model and region. The content of the update is likely to remain unchanged globally.

To that end, Samsung is only pushing this month’s 30+ security fixes to the Galaxy S23 lineup. In fact, all other devices received the same package. The company is currently preparing One UI 8.5 for the Galaxy family. Introduced with the Galaxy S26 series on Wednesday, the new version is expected to roll out widely starting in March. It brings a myriad of new features and enhancements.

We will let you know when we have more information about Samsung’s February SMR (Security Maintenance Release) and One UI 8.5 rollouts. Meanwhile, Galaxy users can check for new update son their phones from Settings > Software update > Download and install. If the update is not yet available in your region, you may need to wait a few days as Samsung expands the rollout.
