The Galaxy F70e is set to launch on Monday, February 9. As the launch gets closer, the device has appeared on benchmark listings, revealing its CPU and GPU details. Samsung has adopted a slightly different naming this time with an F7* tag. Despite this, the Galaxy F70e remains positioned like an F0* series device. It acts as successor to the Galaxy F06 5G, without major changes in overall performance or segment.

Galaxy F70e appears on Geekbench showing no real performance upgrade

The Galaxy F70e comes with the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset. As per the listing, the device scored 735 in single-core and 1967 in multi-core tests. The benchmark also shows the build version and model numbers which are E076BXXU1AZA1 and SM-E076B respectively. The model being tested here equips 4GB RAM.

Samsung used the same chipset on the Galaxy F06 5G last year, so performance remains mostly the same. GPU scores stay around 1400, which means gaming and visuals should feel similar to its predecessor. Samsung is calling it a youth-focused device, so small software optimizations could take place in order to improve performance.

The Galaxy F70e is the F series counterpart of the Galaxy A07 5G, which launched recently. The F70e features a 800 nits display with a 90Hz refresh rate. Even in 2026, Samsung continues to use a waterdrop notch design.

The phone comes with a leather-finish back, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and an IP54 rating. The F7* series will be a camera focused lineup. Despite that, the rear setup includes a 50MP main camera and a 2MP depth sensor, which does not seem too great.

The Galaxy F70e runs One UI 8 out of the box and will receive six generations of Android OS and security updates, meaning that it should be supported upto Android 22. The color options are Limelight Blue and Spotlight Green. Pricing is expected to stay under INR 15,000 with the launch scheduled for February 9, as listed on Flipkart.
