Samsung has started rolling out a new update for Galaxy Enhance-X that addresses the issues many users have been facing since the app’s major overhaul with One UI 8.5. The release comes after weeks of complaints about update loops, missing features, and even the app disappearing from Galaxy Store search results on some devices.

Galaxy Enhance-X issues on One UI 8.5 finally get a fix

Samsung’s One UI 8.5 update brought a major upgrade to Galaxy Enhance-X. The company improved the interface and introduced several new features, basically transforming the app into a more comprehensive photo-editing suite. While the new version worked as intended on the Galaxy S26 series, many older Galaxy devices ran into unexpected problems.

Some users found themselves stuck in an update loop. The app repeatedly requested an update and redirected users to the Galaxy Store, but no update was actually available for download. Galaxy Enhance-X also stopped appearing in Galaxy Store search results. Some features went missing too. I had all of these problems on my Galaxy S25 Ultra.

Samsung investigated the issues and has now released an update to fix them. Galaxy Enhance-X version 16.3.00.43, which is now available through the Galaxy Store, resolves all of the aforementioned problems. Users who experienced missing features or the update loop should install the latest version as soon as it becomes available in their region.

To check for updates, open the Galaxy Store, tap the hamburger menu (three horizontal lines in the top left), and select Updates. You will see all available app updates there. If Galaxy Enhance-X is on the list, update it to install the new version (you should keep all apps updated). Alternatively, you can search for the app directly from the search bar in the top right.
