Galaxy Buds Able Battery Clears BIS Certification

Earlier today, we spotted the battery units of the Galaxy Z Fold 8, Galaxy Z Flip 8, and Galaxy Z Wide Fold on India’s BIS. They don’t reveal much, but they do confirm what’s in the pipeline, and the model numbers match. Apart from the foldables, we also spotted battery certification for the Galaxy Buds Able on BIS.
Galaxy Buds Able battery shows up on BIS, but details remain scarce
Android Authority recently discovered code strings for what could be called the Galaxy Buds Able or Galaxy Buds A BLE, or “Able” might just be an internal codename. Put simply, it’s something Samsung has in the pipeline, and it appeared with the SM-U600 model number. There’s barely anything known about the product at the time of writing.
Moving a step closer to development, we spotted the battery unit for the Galaxy Buds Able (SM-U600) on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS). It appears with the EB-BU600AAY model number, and while that doesn’t confirm anything, it’s yet another sign that Samsung has something in the works.
There are still plenty of questions. When does Samsung plan to launch the Galaxy Buds Able? Is that even the final name, or just a placeholder or internal codename? One detail Android Authority mentioned in a previous report is that these start with SM-U, even though Samsung tends to stick with SM-R numbering for Galaxy Buds. So could these be something completely different… possibly a new category of audio or assistive hearing aids?
