Samsung is gearing up to launch the Galaxy A27 5G in the coming months. As we wait for an official announcement, a new development signals its imminent arrival. We have spotted the phone’s official firmware live on Samsung’s Mexico server, revealing key insights into its software setup.

Galaxy A27 5G firmware is now live in the Mexico region

A recent look at Samsung’s server shows that the official factory firmware for the not-yet-announced Galaxy A27 5G. The firmware is for the Telcel carrier in Mexico. For those who follow the technical details, the first build has the version A276BXXU1AZEA.

The importance of this discovery is that it gives us concrete evidence of the software information. The server data reveals the Galaxy A27 5G will be shipped with One UI 8.5 based on Android 16 out of the box. Do not expect advanced AI features, but the A27 will get Samsung’s modern One UI experience.

In terms of hardware, the phone packs a Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chipset, a 6.7-inch 120Hz AMOLED display, and a 50MP main camera with OIS. Aesthetically, buyers can expect four exciting color options. Specifically, the Galaxy A27 5G is expected to launch in Black, Blue, Pink, and a fresh new Mint shade.

Unfortunately, these premium upgrades might come at a cost. Recent leaks suggest Samsung is planning a noticeable price hike. The current market conditions may be driving the price up. Of course, Samsung has not officially announced the Galaxy A27 5G yet. Until then, these remain rumors.

That said, the discovery of its firmware on regional servers shows that Samsung is preparing software for a global launch soon. The Galaxy A27 5G could go official within the next few weeks, possibly before the foldable launch in late July. Stay tuned.
