At Computex 2026 in Taipei, MSI showed off something that actually stands out. MSI’s MPG OLED 322URDX36 is being pitched as the world’s first triple-mode QD-OLED gaming monitor, powered by a panel from Samsung Display.

Samsung Display’s QD-OLED tech enables MSI’s 680Hz gaming monitor

At its core, the monitor uses Samsung Display’s 5th-gen QD-OLED with Penta Tandem technology. This five-layer structure boosts light efficiency by up to 30 percent, and it shows. The panel also uses an RGB stripe layout, which helps fix OLED’s long-standing text clarity issues while keeping colors punchy and accurate.

The headline feature is flexibility. This single monitor can switch between 4K at 360Hz, 1440p at 520Hz, and 1080p at a blistering 680Hz. It’s for gamers who move between cinematic games and competitive shooters and don’t want to compromise.

Samsung Display’s panel improvements carry over to HDR as well. MSI claims peak brightness of 1500 nits, along with VESA DisplayHDR True Black 600 and ClearMR 18000 certifications. There’s also a DarkArmor film layer that enhances black levels and improves durability. Now, that’s something OLED panels often struggle with over time.

MSI adds its own layer of intelligence on top. The AI Care Sensor detects user presence to reduce burn-in risks, backed by OLED Care features and a three-year warranty. Alongside this, MSI also showcased PRO MAX QD-OLED monitors using the same Samsung Display. MSI positions these monitors for creators, complete with Mac integration and KVM support.
