Samsungโs upcoming Galaxy S25 Edge is gearing up for its debut soon. Although Samsung has officially teased it twiceโonce during the January Unpacked event and again at MWC in Barcelonaโthereโs still very little official information available. What we do know is that itโs set to launch next month, in April, and could feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy, a ceramic back, and uncompromised durability. Ahead of the release, case maker Dbrand has already listed the Galaxy S25 Edge. It also states that shipping will begin in the Q2 of 2025, which roughly aligns with the rumored release schedule.
Case maker lists Galaxy S25 Edgeโs MagSafe case, screen protectors
Dbrand has officially listed a MagSafe case for the Galaxy S25 Edge, confirming that the device will support Qi2 charging. Thatโs not surprising, given that all other S25 models also come with this capability. However, since Samsung has already teased the device twice, the case listing doesnโt reveal anything new. The MagSafe alignment appears to match that of the rest of the Galaxy S25 series.
According to the listing, Dbrandโs MagSafe case for the Galaxy S25 Edge is priced at $49.95. If you bundle the MagSafe case, two screen protectors, and a teardown skin, the total cost comes to $104.85. Shipping is estimated between April and June (Q2 2025).
Additionally, the Galaxy S25 Edge will feature a 3,900mAh battery, which is smaller than both the Galaxy S25+ (4,900mAh) and the Galaxy S25 Ultra (5,000mAh). Pricing details have also surfaced, suggesting the S25 Edge will be slightly more expensive than the Galaxy S25+ but cheaper than the Ultra. Allegedly, the base variant could start at KRW 1,500,000 (~$1,030).
We also know that the device will feature a 200MP primary rear camera. However, one rumored detail that fans hope isnโt true is that it may only support 25W wired charging.
Thanks for the tip, Larry!
