After a series of leaked renders and dummy units, the Galaxy S25+ has made its first appearance in real-life photos, giving us an early glimpse at Samsung’s upcoming flagship. The leaked images reveal key design details, including the redesigned camera rings. The device launches alongside the Galaxy S25 and S25 Ultra in the second half of January.
New leak shows real-life Galaxy S25+ photos
Tipster @Jukanlosreve recently posted images of what appears to be the US carrier-locked version of the Galaxy S25+ (model number Sm-S936U). The images show the phone’s front, back, and right sides. While the overall design is unchanged from the Galaxy S24+, the bezels around the display look marginally slimmer.
The rear profile is also identical to its predecessor. Samsung appears to have slightly redesigned the camera rings but they look nothing like what we saw in leaked renders. Most people disliked the new rings shown in those renders, so the company might have retracted that redesign. Well, that’s if the images we have today show the final product.
The frame design is standard Samsung stuff. We have both the volume controls and the power button on the right side. Since this is the US version, there’s a recessed patch on the frame for the mmWave antenna. The Galaxy S25+ is expected to feature an aluminum body, which can interfere with mmWave signals. This cutout helps improve its signal reception.
These are the first real-life photos of a Galaxy S25 model yet. Samsung is expected to unveil the new flagships on January 22, 2025. It should open pre-orders for the phones on the same day.
