The Galaxy S24 Ultra Arc Pulse Case Review: For Minimalists

by | Jun 6, 2024 | News

Today, we’re diving into the Galaxy S24 Ultra Arc Pulse case full review. This isn’t just any case; it’s one of the most talked-about accessories for the S24 Ultra. Love it or hate it, this case has generated a lot of buzz. Let’s see what makes it so unique and how it looks on the S24 Ultra.

The Arc Pulse case has upped its game this year with better packaging and design. It’s a two-piece case with a polished machined aluminum frame and reinforced corners. This particular color, mirror gray, matches the gray version of the S24 Ultra beautifully.

How to Apply the Arc Pulse Case

Applying the case is straightforward but requires a bit of patience. Here’s how to do it:

  1. Bottom Piece: Start with the S-Pen side first, as it has a bevel. Push it down until it fits snugly.
  2. Top Piece: Place it over the camera side first, then pull it over to fit the other edge. Ensure it fits tightly around the camera housing.

It might take a few tries to get the perfect fit. Don’t worry if it’s not perfect on the first attempt; the fit will improve over time.

First Impressions

The Arc Pulse looks sleek and minimalistic. It keeps your phone slightly elevated off surfaces, protecting both the back and the screen. While it doesn’t offer the most robust protection against side scuffs, it does provide decent corner drop protection thanks to the reinforced corners and shock-absorbing material.

I definitely don’t recommend this case for those who have outdoor professions or let their children hold their phone regularly. This case, if you can really call it that, acts more like a bumper than anything else. The priorities on the Arc Pulse design are clear, aesthetics over protection all the way. The polished finish can pick up some fingerprints, but it’s not nearly as bad as I was expecting. I don’t find the fingerprints to be a bother.

Overall, I like the fact that this case allows me to feel the premium design of the S24 Ultra in my hand each day. However, the way the bumper protrudes looks a bit odd when viewed from the front in my opinion, so it will come down to your personal design tastes in that regard.

The Price Point

This premium case comes at a premium price. The mirror gray version is priced at $89.99, and other variants can go up to $119.99. It’s definitely an investment, especially when you can find basic cases for as low as $10. However, if you appreciate a minimalist aesthetic and quality materials, the Arc Pulse might be worth it. Arc does offer a nice configuration tool to check how each case will look on your particular phone. You can even cycle through all possible phone colors as well. If you’re interested in picking one of these up, you can do so on their website directly
